This is a beautiful form of the popular Japanese cedar
Elegans, carries delicate feathery foliage throughout its life, which in Autumn/Winter turns an attractive red-bronze colour. It is a relatively slow growing tree and works well in any garden. Introduced in he 1860's grows at most 5m before bending over and rerooting in the ground. Though this can be prevented if preferred by pruning.
